I was screwing around with my digital camera and happened to snap off a fairly eerie looking picture of myself in the mirror. -I- looked normal, but my reflection came out looking a bit strange and mutated.

With my current Silent Hill obsession going insane, I opened up Photoshop and went crazy on it. A lot of the texture in there was done by hand with the tablet, the rest is crazy filters and color tweaking.

I should do this more often, it's fun.

your pic adn all those comments about seein ya old self int eh mirror or wevs.. uuuugh.. i remeber when i was like in the sixth grade and i caight myself starin at meself in the reflextion of a glass door. when i was starin at me..."me"?... i saw myself age.. well.. nto age as in speed up but like "this is wut i look like when i'm -this age-" and stuff.. i didnt like it.. i know i'm gonna have baggy eyes like my grandma tho.. specific baggyness...

That's nifty. If you look at the person to the left, they look a lot older than the one in the mirror...kind of like you're seeing your younger self reflected in a mirror. Your past coming back to haunt you or summat. I love how this came out - and yes, I see how you could conceivably tie Silent Hill into the feel of the shot. Very accurate and precise, as far as that goes...

S' funny how any "old" effects we add to a picture make it seem more frightening. It's almost like we're scared of the past, or our history as a whole...

great picture. looks kind of turn-of-the-century in the quality of the photo. love the lack of color.

By the way. I was wondering if you minded at all that I based one of my new characters on you. When I was thinking of a character that was going to look different from any other character I had done, I suddenly had an image of you in my mind (i.e. the photo of a very somber looking you on your porch). I loved the idea of a thin, agile looking girl with extremely short hair. Thus I hope you don't mind that you were partially the inspiration of my new character Emmy.
I'm just rambling. :blush:
